“In this fable, a jackdaw envies the magnificent feathers of an eagle and decides to imitate them. The jackdaw gathers feathers from various birds to adorn itself like the eagle. However, when it tries to join the eagles, the other eagles recognize it as an imposter and drive it away. The jackdaw returns to its own kind, where it is once again accepted. The story teaches the lesson that pretending to be something you are not will ultimately lead to rejection, and one should be content with their true self.”
